RapClone ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application and related services.

2. Information We Collect

Device Information

  • Device ID (for usage tracking and account management)
  • Device type and operating system
  • App version

Voice Data

  • Voice recordings you provide (10-20 seconds), used to create a voice that is applied to each song you generate
  • Processed voice models derived from your recordings

How we obtain consent: Before activating the microphone, we display a notice on the recording screen linking to this Privacy Policy. By proceeding with the recording you provide explicit consent to our collection and processing of your voice data as described herein.

Usage Data

  • App usage patterns

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information to:

  • Provide voice cloning and track generation services

4. Data Sharing with Third Parties

We share your data with trusted third-party service providers solely to deliver our service:

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption:

  • Voice samples and tracks are stored in Cloudflare R2 with encryption at rest
  • Database records are stored in Supabase with secure access controls
  • All data transmission uses HTTPS encryption
  • Access to data is restricted to authorized personnel only

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as you actively use the service. Specifically:

  • Voice samples: Retained until you delete them in-app.
  • Generated tracks: Retained until you delete them in-app.
  • Device and usage data: Retained for service operation and abuse prevention

You can delete your voice data and generated tracks at any time directly in the app.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access your personal data
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Delete your data (voice samples and tracks)
  • Export your data in a portable format (data portability)
  • Withdraw consent for data processing at any time
  • Restrict or object to certain data processing

EU/EEA residents: You have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority (supervisory authority) if you believe we have not handled your data in accordance with applicable law.

Legal basis for processing (GDPR): We process your voice data on the basis of your explicit consent (Article 9(2)(a) GDPR), which you provide by proceeding with the voice recording. You may withdraw consent at any time by deleting your voice data in the app, without affecting the lawfulness of processing prior to withdrawal. Other personal data is processed on the basis of legitimate interests (service delivery, abuse prevention).

8. Children's Privacy

RapClone is rated 17+ and is not intended for children under 17 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 17. If you believe we have collected information from a person under 17, please contact us immediately.

9. International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence, including the United States. For transfers of personal data from the EU/EEA, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) as approved by the European Commission, or on the adequacy decisions applicable to our service providers. Our sub-processors are listed in Section 4 above.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. For material changes, we will provide notification through the app or via email.
